Anne Scheurich RN, BS, CWOCN is promoted to Vice President of Clinical Operations. Scheurich leads a team of seven clinical specialists who implement WoundRounds electronic documentation and wound care management system. Other responsibilities include authorship of professional journal articles, industry presentations, and clinical training. She joined the organization as a clinical advisor in 2007, and played a key role in developing WoundRounds software to fit the workflow of wound nurses. Prior to joining the Company, Scheurich served as president of Northern Illinois Affiliate of the Wound Ostomy Continence Nursing Association and editor of WOCNews. She also served as Clinical Resource Consultant to Smith & Nephew’s Wound Management Division, and was vice president of nursing for Applied Home Telemedicine. Anne earned a B.S. degree at the College of Saint Francis and a diploma in nursing at Saint Joseph School of Nursing.
WoundRounds is also pleased to announce two additions to its Clinical Implementations team: Jennifer Kleinert, WCC, LPN and Laura Patun BSN, RN, CWCN Kleinert joins the Company after serving two years on the wound care team at Lexington Health Care’s 278-bed skilled facility in Orland Park, Ill. She began her career as a wound nurse at Provena Heritage Village (Kankakee, IL), one of the first facilities to use the WoundRounds system. Patun joins WoundRounds after an extensive career as a clinical wound specialist and account manager for several leading wound care product companies, including KCI USA, Hollister Wound Care and Systagenix Wound Management. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Aurora University, Aurora, IL
