HOFFMAN ESTATES, IL (December 12, 2012) – Norwegian American Hospital, a Chicago-based acute care facility, has selected WoundRounds® to automate its wound care management and risk prevention process. Using WoundRound’s point-of-care technology, nurses enter wound data at the bedside to generate electronic wound documentation and automatic reports.
Norwegian American uses MediTech for their Electronic Medical Record (EMR). An ADT feed is part of the planned integration between the EMR and the WoundRounds clinical data.
