John Croghan, MD
Co-Founder

Dr. Croghan is board-certified in geriatric medicine, internal medicine and rheumatology. In addition to maintaining a medical practice in the North Shore region of Chicago for more than 10 years, Dr. Croghan serves as medical advisor and/or director for a number of senior health centers and facilities in Chicago, including the Hyatt Classic Residence at the Glen, Manor Care Health Services and the North Shore Senior Center. He is a pioneer in developing technology solutions that improve elderly care. In 1995, Dr. Croghan co-founded Extended Care Information Network (ECIN), a system that improves the process of hospital discharge planning. In January 2008, Allscripts acquired ECIN for $90 million. Dr. Croghan received his medical degree from Rush Medical College in Chicago. Dr. Croghan completed his residency in internal medicine at Loyola University Medical Center, a fellowship in geriatric medicine at Johns Hopkins University and another fellowship in rheumatology at George Washington University. He also earned his B.A. at Williams College in Mass.

Philip Sheridan, Jr., MD
Co-Founder and Member of the Board

Dr. Sheridan is a board-certified, practicing pulmonologist. He is the founder of the Mobile C.A.R.E. Foundation, a not-for profit mobile medical unit providing asthma care to inner city children. Dr. Sheridan also was co-founder of Extended Care Information Network and American Health Care Partnership. He received his medical degree at Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine where he was chief fellow of the lung transportation program. Dr. Sheridan earned an M.B.A. from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University and a B.A. from Williams College.

Mike Diamond
President and Chief Executive Officer

Mike Diamond leads the Telemedicine Solutions team, leveraging over 20 years of healthcare technology experience with a focus in product innovation, sales management and marketing. Mr. Diamond has held various executive management roles in emerging information technology start-ups and Fortune 500 companies. He previously served as Founder and Managing Partner of Insight Technologies and Senior Vice President of E&C Medical Intelligence. Before E&C, he was Senior Vice President for Extended Care Information Network (ECIN) where he scaled revenues from launch to over $10 million across 3,200 client organizations, prior to acquisition by Allscripts for $90 million. Before joining ECIN, Mr. Diamond was a Region Vice President for McKesson Corporation. He serves on the advisory boards of several healthcare products companies, and holds a B.S. degree in Business Management from St. John’s University in Minnesota.

Brad Bernstein
Member of the Board

Mr. Bernstein is the founding partner of SE Capital. Prior to joining SE Capital, he was managing director and practice leader in the investment banking division of JP Morgan & Company and was senior member of the high yield capital markets group at JP Morgan Securities. Mr. Bernstein earned an M.B.A. from The Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University. He also holds a B.A. in finance from the University of South Florida and currently serves as a member of the business school’s executive advisory council.

David R. Devereaux
Member of the Board

Mr. Devereaux is the former President and COO of Beverly Healthcare, one of the largest and most respected long-term skilled nursing care chains in the United States. Previously, he held senior leadership positions at Manor Care Health Services and The Hillhaven Corporation. Mr. Devereaux earned a BS degree in Hotel Administration from Cornell University and an MBA with a concentration in Health Care Administration from Temple University, Philadelphia, PA. He serves as Chair, Board of Visitors, for the College of Health Professions at Temple University, and has endowed the David R. Devereaux Chair for the School of Nursing at Temple.

Steve Martin
Member of the Board

Steve Martin is the Senior Vice President of Sales at Merge Healthcare. Mr. Martin has a 20 year career in the healthcare IT industry, including his most recent role as Senior Vice President of Segment Sales at Allscripts, where he served the acute and post-acute industries following Allscripts’ acquisition of Extended Care Information Services (ECIN) in December, 2007. Mr. Martin was part of the executive management team at ECIN, where they worked to change the way the transition of care took place from the acute to post-acute settings.

Mr. Martin has also held positions with McKesson HBOC and CCC Information Services and serves on the Board of Directors for WoundRounds, an electronic documentation and wound care management systems.

Corey Tobin
Member of the Board

Corey Tobin is currently the SVP of Healthcare Solutions for Trustwave, a provider of data security and compliance solutions. In this role, he is responsible for developing and marketing Trustwave’s HIPAA-oriented product line, which is focused on the needs of hospitals, ambulatory offices, and other similar enterprises. Prior to this position, Mr. Tobin was a Partner with William Blair & Company, serving for 10 years in the firm’s Equity Research group. Mr. Tobin focused on healthcare IT and specialty software companies, and was recognized for his work by The Wall Street Journal, The Financial Times, and Forbes. Before William Blair, he was an associate at the private-equity firm Willis Stein & Partners, an analyst in the M&A investment banking group of Merrill Lynch, and an associate in the financial advisory services practice at Coopers & Lybrand. Mr. Tobin holds a B.S. with High Distinction from the University of Michigan, an M.B.A. from Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management, and an M.S. from the University of Chicago.

John Hass
Member of the Board

John is a partner of PEAK6 Investments, LP, a Chicago-based asset management and proprietary trading firm. Prior to joining PEAK6 in 2006, John was a managing director at Goldman, Sachs & Co. where he spent 18 years in the New York, Chicago and Sydney offices primarily in coverage of financial institutions. John is a member of the board of directors of Platinum Underwriters Holdings, Ltd, a Bermuda based, public reinsurance company specializing in property and casualty insurance. In addition, to Telemedicine Solutions, John serves on the boards of the privately held firms Safetec Compliance Systems, Inc., a Vancouver, Washington based SaaS chemicals management firm and Marbles:The Brain Store, a Chicago-based specialty retailer. John is the President of the Board of Directors of WITNESS, a Brooklyn-based human rights organization. In addition, John serves on the board of trustees of the Museum of Contemporary Photography. John is married to Mary Frances Budig and has two children.
